This year is a big one. Join us July 10th, 11th, and 12th for our 125th Rodeo, the 4th longest continuous rodeo in the USA and the longest in Colorado. Started in the streets of Gunnison in 1900, we've come a long way to being one of the premier national PRCA rodeos. Never once shying away from highlighting our western heritage and ranching culture and serving our community that still lives that tradition today.

Head next door for a post rodeo concert at the 5B's BBQ Street Dance Thursday night! Ken Stonecipher and the Wooden Nickel Band have been entertaining crowds and filling dance floors all over the region for years, and they are ready to come play for you!

Join us for Ken Stonecipher and the Wooden Nickel Band at the Ice Rink. From Las Vegas to the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, to private events and dances, they will keep you two-stepping the night away!
Opportunities to give:
American Legion Post 54 was chartered in 1919, and is currently the only organization serving the veterans in the Gunnison Valley. The four pillars of the American Legion are National Defense, Veterans and their Rehabilitation, Americanism and Children/youth. Their most important obligation is performing Military Honors for veterans who have passed away. They put out American flags in Gunnison on our patriotic holidays, host the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, hold ceremonies for Memorial Day, Flag Day and Veterans Day, present Colors for events as requested and lead the Cattlemen's Days parade.
Our local 4H clubs help raise the next generation of ranchers and farmers. Donating to 4Ever 4H is a great way to support our little buck-a-roos.
Golden Circle of Champions is a special cause. Pediatric cancer are words no one wants to hear, but when someone in our valley if affected by this diagnosis, Cattlemen's Days supports their lives as well as their treatments.
Gunnison Cattlemen's Days is privileged to help bring one of 20 families affected by pediatric cancer from local Rodeo communities to attend the National Finals Rodeo to experience and enjoy the biggest event of the year. They meet the professional athletes, attend a banquet in their honor, and get to watch the rodeo. Its an unforgettable experience for these brave kids and we hope to grow this new endeavor as the years go by into supporting all the ancillary issues that affect families who need to focus on treatment.
